today i went to a mass and function and i wore a bargain dress in river island for £20. i bought it in cornwall, i wore it with a navy zara blazer and pretty ballerina woven pumps. I have no pictures of it SORRY. but i can explain what i did to it
The dress: my dress was a netted dress with dots- it was brought to my neck and then used as a very elegant choker. The choker consisted of netted flowers and pearls. The back of the dress was the same floaty dress but what pulled it together was the long white silk bow, that looked very 'Audrey Hepburn' like. It was a very french dress.
The Blazer: the blazer was a very smart navy blazer with silk on the inside stitched with polka dots, that contrasted with the colour. There was a very smart look with the dress and shoes. It made your figure look so much slimmer than normal. It pulls your slimmest part of your body together.
The shoes: My shoes were from 'Pretty Ballerina' in London. They were woven with different contrasts of colours. Blues and beiges and some very subtle reds. They gave me blisters but if you work the fashion you got to learn with the pain. trust me.
The make up: my make up was really simple. (i dont really like make up to be honest) but i did put some on. I started off with some powder foundation from 'Sephora' and then i went on to my mascara, it was very old so i had to use the brown one which looked so much better on me than black. I then put a tiny bit of eyeshadow to mix with the foundation so that my face didnt look orange like an oompa loompa. I then put some lip gloss on from 'Mac' it was peachy and very shiny and pretty. thats all that i put on. it seemed like to much to me but everyone said that it was so simple but beautiful.
i am on my mums computer so i will add the pictures of the dress later xx :)
